2. Information We Collect
We collect only what is needed to run draw and toss sessions.
Information you provide
- Team names entered in a room
- Room codes used to create or join a session
- Optional captain / display names if you enter them
Information created during use
- Room and match data (teams, draw results, toss results, session status)
- Session timing needed to keep an active room available for a limited period
Information stored on your device
- Local preferences such as your last active room, so you can return to an ongoing session
What we do not collect
- No personal login accounts
- No payment or billing information
- No contacts, photos, or precise location data
- No advertising IDs for targeted ads
3. How We Use Information
- Create and manage live rooms
- Sync draw and toss results between participants in real time
- Let you rejoin an active room while it is still valid
- Improve reliability and fix technical issues
We do not sell your data. We do not use room or team data for advertising.
4. How Data Is Shared
Room data is shared only with people who join the same room using the room code or invite link.
We use Google Firebase (including Firestore) to store and sync session data. Google processes this data under its own terms and privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
We do not share your information with other third parties except when required by law, or to protect the safety and integrity of the app and its users.
5. Data Retention
- Active room data is kept only as long as needed for the session and short-term availability
- Local device data remains until you clear app storage or uninstall the app
- Inactive or expired rooms may be removed as part of normal service maintenance
6. Children’s Privacy
Cricket Draw is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, contact us and we will delete it where reasonably possible.
7. Security
We use industry-standard cloud infrastructure (Firebase) and reasonable technical measures to protect session data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Choices
- Leave or exit a room at any time
- Clear local app data from your device settings
- Uninstall the app to remove locally stored information
- Contact us about room data linked to a session you created
9. Third-Party Links
The app may open store pages, email, or other external links (for example Share App, Rate App, More Apps, or Contact). Those third-party sites have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of Cricket Draw after an update means you accept the revised policy.
